Range Rover stolen from Gloucester driveway in minutes

CCTV has been issued showing a Range Rover being stolen from a driveway in Gloucester in just a few minutes.
Officers are appealing for information and encouraging motorists to review their vehicle security in light of the incident, which began at an address in Longford Lane at around 12.55am last Wednesday (7 June).
The thieves managed to overcome the keyless technology of the white Range Rover Sport, most likely by using a transmitter to boost the signal from the key that was inside the house. However they eventually ditched the car within a few hours, unable to disable the tracker device.
While they had the car, the offenders drove around the area, travelling from Longford Lane to Edwy Parade before colliding with a black Fiesta, damaging its rear end and the bumper of another car, continuing on to Hinton Road and finally abandoning the damaged Range Rover in Nicholls Way at around 4am.
Motion-triggered CCTV footage from a property neighbouring the victim’s address shows the pair of offenders approach the car several times, before getting in and reversing out of the driveway.
