Get ready, Gloucester! On Saturday 20th September, Kings Square will transform into a buzzing hub of creativity, opportunity, and fun with ReFresh – an Opportunities Fair. It’s a totally free event for everyone aged 14–19 (and beyond) to explore, connect, and get inspired.
Kings Square will be packed with local organisations offering something for young people, whether you’re looking for jobs, volunteering, education, activities, or support. Alongside meeting inspiring people and services, you’ll also get to enjoy a range of free activities, including:
🎯 9-hole crazy golf – chill, play, and have a laugh with friends
🎨 “Doves of Peace” art installation – get creative with local artists
🍴 Free food from The Nest – tasty treats from Gloucester’s community kitchen
🎶 Live music from The Music Works – local talent, good vibes, zero entry fee
🔐 “Crack the Code” challenge – collect codes from stalls for the chance to win prizes from the safe
For anyone dreaming of launching their own business, the Start and Grow Enterprise team will be in the brand-new University of Gloucestershire’s City Campus, ready to welcome your ideas and help them take flight.
ReFresh is free, friendly, and all about you. No sign-ups, no tickets—just turn up, explore, and see what sparks your interest. Whether you’re thinking about studying, working, volunteering, or creating something of your own, there’s something here for you.
Bring your mates and drop in anytime between 11 am and 3 pm for hands-on fun, real opportunities, and a chance to re-discover what Gloucester has to offer.
Let’s ReFresh—fun, free, and made for you.
