UKIP are to open a BREXIT shop in Gloucester City Centre today.

Dr Julia Reid, who represents the South West in the European Parliament, is to open the in St Aldate Street at 2pm.

The shop will be open for the remainder of the Referendum campaign and will serve as a point of contact for people in Gloucester to obtain information and promotional material about Brexit.

Commented Richard Ford, who was UKIP’s Parliamentary Candidate for Gloucester in last year’s General Election: “We are absolutely delighted to have this shop for the remainder of the Referendum campaign. What we are finding from our regular street stalls outside the Guildhall is that many people are still undecided about the EU, and they wish to obtain as much information as they possibly can. Obviously the Government spent £ 9.5 million of public money in promoting the Remain case by mailing every household in the country.  Our shop in Gloucester will be a small step towards redressing that imbalance.

“We are working together with our colleagues in Gloucester Vote Leave to ensure that as many residents of Gloucester and Gloucestershire are as fully informed about the case for Leave as possible, and we are grateful that Julia Reid has taken time out of her busy schedule to travel to Gloucester to open this fantastic resource for us.”
