Police are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in Gloucester.

The incident happened at around 11.20pm on Friday March 25th at the junction of Faraday Close and Huxley Road.

The victim – a 30-year-old local man – was walking home with his partner after a night out when he was approached by three black men. One of the men then asked the victim if he had a cigarette to which he replied that he didn’t. The victim then felt a sharp pain in his stomach and the three offenders ran away.

The victim suffered a small wound to his abdomen and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal hospital for treatment. He has subsequently been discharged from hospital.
