Three men have been charged in connection with a supermarket burglary in Bourton on the Water.

Thomas Townsley, aged 26, and Lee Thomas, aged 38, both of Tuffley Avenue in Gloucester, have been charged with burglary. Thomas was also charged with dangerous driving. They were arrested at the scene.

After police enquiries, we arrested two other men on suspicion of burglary in connection with the incident. Malachi Headman-Cook, aged 27, of Linden Close in Brockworth, was subsequently charged. A fourth man, aged 26 from Gloucester, remains in custody for questioning.

Townsley, Thomas and Headman-Cook will appear at Cheltenham Magistrates Court today (Wednesday 7 December).

The charges are in relation to a burglary at the Co-op on Station Road in the early hours of Tuesday 6 December, which resulted in a police pursuit on the A417.
