Police are appealing for information after a man was seen committing a lewd act in woodland near Haresfield.

The incident happened in woodland regularly used by dog walkers at about 3.20pm on Wednesday April 27.

The victim was walking her dog through the woods when she saw a man committing a lewd act in front of her. The victim had seen the same man in a car on the main road through Haresfield shortly before the incident.

The offender is described as white, with dark hair, in his 30’s and wearing sunglasses.

Officers are asking dog walkers in the area to be aware of this incident. If anyone witnessed this incident or similar, they should call police on 101, quoting incident number 328 of April 27.
