The annual Walk 4 Hollie has moved its route and will now start and finish at Gloucester Quays.
Walk 4 Hollie is now in its third year and will take place on Sunday the 24th of April. The charity event, walked by families and groups, will now start at Gloucester Quays Portivo Lounge with live music and stalls. The walk has a start time of 2pm and will for the first time have a landmark route, going around various attractions in Gloucester before returning to Portivo for more music and entertainment.
“We initially began with a route from Cheltenham to Longlevens but the charity and its following has grown so we wanted to extend the walk and the fun people can have,” said Hollie Gazzard Trust chairperson Nick Gazzard.”
“The route is 10K long and you can purchase a t-shirt to wear on the walk for £5 by emailing info@holliegazzard.org stating your size. Sponsor forms can be downloaded from our facebook page /holliegazzardtrust” he added.
The Hollie Gazzard Trust was set up by Nick Gazzard following the death of his daughter Hollie, who was stabbed to death while at work at Fringe Benefits & La Bella Beauty Salon, Gloucester. The charities aim is to promote the dangers of knife crime, reduce the level of domestic abuse and to help, support and fund young hairdressers in Gloucestershire through a partnership with Gloucestershire College.
