Gloucester FM has been given another five-year licence to broadcast to the City and surrounding areas.

A statement from station chairman, Colin Riley, read: “It is with great pleasure that the Board of Gloucester FM GFM 96.6 can announce that the application to Ofcom for an extension of our Community Radio License has been successful and have been granted the opportunity to broadcast for another 5 years.”

“We would like to thank everyone who was involved in this successful submission, including the people in the community who have already come forward with offers to volunteer their time, skills &/or money donations to help keep us on air.”
