A CCTV image has been released of a woman police want to speak to in connection with the theft of a bag containing a Canon camera lens worth nearly £200 from a post office customer.

The incident happened at the post office in the Oxebode, Gloucester between 1.20pm and 1.30pm on Friday 2 December.

A man left his shopping bag on the floor of the post office and a member of staff, believing it belonged to someone else, handed it to a woman customer, who took it without hesitation.

Officers want to speak to the woman and hear her side of the story.
