Café René was the first pub in Gloucester to obtain a 24-hour licence and still have it today. Trading for more than 13 years in the city centre. Paul Soden opened Café René and turned it into a pub that he would like to eat and drink in. He created an atmosphere that encourages everyone to enjoy food, drink, music, and most importantly each other. “We are a key member of the Gloucester City Safe Scheme that aims to stop anti-social behaviour. It has now been adopted in every borough in London”.
