Officers in the Forest of Dean are appealing for information after a spate of burglaries in Highnam.

The first burglary occurred in West Field between 5.45am and 10.45pm on Saturday 12 March. Offenders forced entry to the rear of the property and a large amount of cash and jewellery were stolen.

A second burglary happened between 9am on Saturday 12 March and 7.50am on Sunday 13 March on Gordon Close. Offenders forced entry and conducted an untidy search but nothing is thought to have been stolen.

At around 7.30pm on Saturday 12 March, a witness reported seeing four men looking into windows of properties on Hill Crest.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incidents 446 and 503 of Saturday 12 March and 107 of Sunday 13 March.
